Developer and publisher Critical Games has announced retro RPG 8-Bit Adventures 2. The game is scheduled to release in 2020 for PC via Steam. The announcement trailer can be viewed below.
8-Bit Adventures 2 has the look and feel of RPGs from the NES, SNES, and PS1 libraries, with none of the dated inconveniences. The world is being ravaged by a terrible entity known as the Glitch and seven brave warriors must band together in order to save everyone. The game features turn-based battles, no random encounters, the ability to save anywhere, and a story that spans over twenty hours with no need for grinding.
